Hi, I’m Alicia!
I’m a television writer, playwright and teaching artist, based in NY, LA, and Seoul!
What I Do
Writing
Writing is my first love and I try to do it in every medium I can! I’m a playwright, and an Executive Story Editor-Level Television writer with experience in a variety of genres and formats. I’ve also written for short-form internet series, ad-creatives, live political news-comedy shows and podcasts.
Current Projects: Orchard Project Greenhouse Lab, Shonda Rhimes New Voices Commission at IAMA Theatre.
Teaching
I’ve been a teaching artist since 2009 in theater, filmmaking and writing for aspiring artists of all ages. I’ve been teaching TV Writing, specifically, since 2020 and became a certified English Language teacher in 2024. I currently offer online classes through the Writing Pad and my own online learning community, Story Brain Academy.
Upcoming Classes: Structure for TV Pilot Writing (Writing Pad), Entertainment Career Roadmap (SBA)
Producing
I produce live events, theatrical workshops and full length plays, specializing in low-budget theater, music & variety shows, festivals and fundraisers! I spent the last 7 years producing for See What Sticks LA, a monthly staged-workshop series and artist development organization in Los Angeles, and I’ve worked everything from small comedy festivals and fundraising galas, to large industry events like Tribeca Film Festival and The Fringe!
Marketing
I specialize in content strategy, copywriting and events for theater, music and arts organizations. I put my writing, project management, and design skills to work to help arts organizations connect with their audiences.
Services range from content creation and copywriting to content strategy and social media management.
